Maya Member’s
We have a lot going on the weekend with the Stickbow tournament on Sunday, November 3rd. We will be having a Work Party, Saturday the 2nd, in getting the 3D animals out on the course and laying out the yardages and Safety Trails; not to mention getting the Registration and Parking lot lined out and ready for Sunday.
Another caveat is we have ‘New Member’s’ there at 9 AM, Saturday morning. So, the parking will be congested with new members showing up and keeping the entrance to the building clear so we can get the animals out.
The Field and Sight-In range will be closed all day on Saturday before the shoot on Sunday!
Help will be needed on Sunday for Trail Monitors, Parking, Food Stands, Raffle, Registration and clean up after the shoot in bringing in the Animals. This is a chance to satisfy the requirement for one special event towards next year’s renewal dues. Please be on hand no later than 7 AM.
The new Youth Range has been nearly complete… with that there is a strict limitation on peak bow weight is you choose to use the setup. There is a MAXIMUM poundage limit for shooting at the hay target butts of no more than 20 pounds to ensure that there are no pass throughs in the hay. Remember this is a Youth Range!
Lastly, there have been several items turned into a Lost & Found so to speak. If you are missing an item, you believe has been lost on the range, please contact one of the Officers, we may have it. Those who have found something on the range, can deposit in the locking mailbox.
