Maya – May 2018 Events

Maya Members,

The following events are scheduled for the month of May 2018

Our 2018 Broadhead League will begin on Saturday morning, May 12thRegistration begins at 8:00 AM and shoot time commences at 9:00 AM.  The Broadhead League will be run in conjunction with our Field Point 3D League… same registration time and shoot times.  Only difference this year is that you must choose to participate in one or the other. You will not be allowed to shoot both for score or awards.  BBQ, Awards and Raffle Drawing July 28th, 12 PM.

Our May Work Party will follow the League Saturday the 12th.  The work party will begin following the completion of the league… starting around 10:30 AM.  We will be working on get moved over to the Summer range and some weed eating around the clubhouse.  Trash can will also need to be empting into the dumpster.

Lunch will be served after the work party by Olivia & Bob as usual.

Target owners need to get the lanes in shape for the final inspection and before the onset of Summer.  It’s already getting to the point that lawnmowers will not be allowed due to the dried grass and fire hazard.

Our Summer League has already started on Thursday evening. The league runs for 12 nights.  Week 3 will be an Animal round. Registration is from 5 PM – 6 PM.  You may start shooting once you have picked up your scorecard. Remember we will not be shooting on May 24th or June 28th. Awards BBQ will be held on August 2nd, 6 PM

Membership renewals will be mailed out approximately on June 15th.  There will be one last work party on June 9th… this will be the last chance to accumulate any credits towards your 2018/2019 membership renewal.  We will be sending them to your current address on file… if you have changed address since your last renewal, we need to know this so we can get your renewal out to you in time for the following new membership year.  You can email any changes to your address at MayaArchers@yahoo.com  Be sure that you included your Membership ID in the email.
